We have been wanting to have the children christened for so long but just have not had chance to organise it so we decided that we really needed to organise it after Casper had arrived, so before christmas we met with the vicar who was lovely and made us feel so welcome, he said to us when he found out we were having eleven of our children christened that he was very excited about it because he had christened eleven children before in a service but not all from the same family so it was very special for him to be able to do it and he felt very honoured, so the next thing to do was to sort out the god parents and as soon as Millie found out she said to me please mum can Julie be my god mum she knew exactly who she wanted and I was over the moon because Julie is a very old friend of mine that I went to school with, when I asked Julie she was delighted to be asked, on thursday we took the children for a look round church and the vicar explained what would happen and showed the children the font and water and talked us through the service the children loved seeing what was going to happen and were very excited, Sunday came and it was such an amazing day shared by our close family and a few friends it was perfect the service was lovely and the children were all so well-behaved Casper and Oscar didn’t even cry when they had the water put on their heads and Katie certainly got more than her fair share of water which she found very funny which then set Millie off laughing it was such a perfect day im not going to go into too much detail because you will get to watch it when its-on telly in April but here’s a few pics
