First of all a massive thanks to all that have taken the time to come and read my blog. I’m in shock at the amount of people who have!

A few weeks ago we were invited to go onto the This Morning show after we were in a national newspaper, I thought long and hard about it for almost 2 seconds and said yes, we would love to do it, the children have been so excited and asking almost everyday when are we going to London. well the day finally came! On Thursday we travelled down by coach and stayed in 3 fantastic apartments that were out of this world, we had a walk around the area that we were staying in, not sure what it’s called but it was central London and it is so different to where we live. The next morning the coach arrived to take us to the studio. On the way there we managed to see a few of the landmarks such as Big Ben, Trafalgar square and the London eye. When we got to the studio ITV filmed us getting off the coach and we all had to give a little wave to the camera. After this we were then taken to the green room (it’s not actually green) from then on the time just flew by! As soon as we got in there Noel & myself had to go to makeup then back to the green room and then Sophie and Chloe went to the makeup room. We did a few bits of filming in the corridor, met a few famous people and then it was time to go and get on the famous sofa which is when we first met Eamonn and Ruth, we had a quick chat to them while the adverts were on then it was back to us being LIVE! The short time that we were on just flew by! I could have waffled on all morning, we all came out of the studio on cloud nine.

But our day didn’t finish there we were now going to meet the Sullivan family that were on the same programme as us early last year which meant a total of 27 children and 4 parents! The Sullivan’s were a fantastic family, all the children were a credit to Tania and Mike and it was great to meet them and talk about how similar our two families reall are, the only down side was that we just couldn’t stay long enough for all the kids to get to know each other as we had a long drive home.
On the same night our new programme went out at 9 pm we didn’t get to see it as we were still on our way home from London but have seen it since, we have had literally hundreds of lovely messages and i would like to thank you all as I just don’t think I will ever get through them all! We are so proud of our family and what we have achieved over the years and if doing the programme has changed the opinion of just one persons perception of large families we will be happy.
